Nestled - SOLD!

6x8   $95
I'm working on setting up a Paypal link on my blog to sell my small works.  However, it seems that I need to figure out how to put a "stupid" little button that links you to Paypal on my site.  I'm also in the process of trying to decide whether to sell on Ebay, Etsy or directly.  All of these options also require me to add a "stupid" little button.  Until I get these issues resolved, if anyone is interested in purchasing a small painting, you can email me at kelleyart@gmail.com.  While I would like to blame the "stupid" button issue on my blondness, it might be more of a "I'm completely computer illiterate" dilemma.  Either way, I'm currently stuck in the mud.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Have a great weekend & in the meantime, here's my latest painting.  Thank goodness I can apply paint to canvas.

Studying Tomatoes- SOLD!

6x12     $150

This was a 15 minute "study/demo" for my students.  It was about laying down color, clean brushwork & not over describing the subject.  I have the most fun with these unfinished pieces, just not sure they're marketable.  In the spirit of "recycling", I'm going to have a BLT.

A Small Work - SOLD!

I painted this on a no sunshine Saturday.  If I can't have sunshine, I can at least paint it.

Reevaluation

Okay, okay, okay. After hearing from several friends, I took another look at the painting that I did a few days ago. It isn't half bad. I had a certain expectation of this painting & when it didn't "quite" hit the mark, I wasn't happy. I won't lower my expectations but I will learn to give myself a bit of a break. Thanks for the comments & support. Happy painting!!!!

Shop Around the Corner

Let's just say the last 3 weeks or so have been a challenge. Teaching, taking care of an ill parent & no heat at my studio hasn't afforded enough painting time. Here's my first attempt in front of the easel. It's like using muscles that haven't been worked in some time. Not pleased with the result but you just keep going.
