Since my last painting was a rainy street scene in NY, I decided to cross the "pond" for a sunny street scene in Italy. Love being able to change continents without leaving home & the weather is more predictable that the local weatherman forecast. Ah, the magic of art. Don't you just want to hop on that motorcycle and venture down the narrow italian streets?

Ah, yes the magic of art....an what a magical piece here today. I can just count the brushstrokes...so efficient and effective in your ways...love the light...and those motorcycles...yes let's hop on and whiz away through the narrow cobblestone alleys of Europe.
I love this composition. The vertical thrust of the buildings with the tiny slice of sky is compelling. Yes, it makes me want to wander down the street.
What beautiful slices of light! This just leads me right into the painting!
