Last Night

"Pear in Thirds"
6x6  Oil on museum quality panel
$95
This is the piece that I demonstrated last night at the Charlotte Artist Society.  I did a few tweaks today, cleaning up some edges and adding a few bits of color.  Doing the finishing touches is a little like, brushing your hair one last time & putting on your jewelry before dashing out the door.  You just hope that you're not wearing blue shoes when you meant to wear black.  Have a good weekend and thanks again to the CAS for inviting me.

What a great piece to accompany yesterday's painting.

I really like this one! It has a very graphic quality that is unusual and different. Very nice!

Très modernes vos tranches de poire et hummm avec un peu de chocolat fondu et de la crème chantilly pas mal aussi ?
Je plaisante mais bravo pour cette peinture. Bises

Love the colors in this one and the clean piece of light around the shadow.

Your very soft pastel colors are what make this such a special work. I agree with Julie, it does compliment the previous post well.
