New Beginnings

"Solitude"
24x12   Oil
$1150

Didn't mean to be away for so long but an exhausting 2010 caught up with me during the holidays.  Looking forward to a less chaotic but challenging (artistically speaking) 2011.  Working on goals for this year, I find myself reevaluating what I want & need to accomplish.  So while I get busy working filling in my brand new calender (one of my favorite things to buy), enjoy the "Solitude".  Many blessings.

This painting has taken me on a little journey. I love the sky and glow in the horizon....the path along the bend and the tree...well it appears I have listed everything in the piece. Well done my friend.

Kelley, Glad to see you back and with a vengence! This might be the best work I have seen! Love it for a number of reasons- most of all, the simple stunning beauty of it!
I look forward to an amazing 2011 for you!

Glad you're back Kelley! (thought you were too busy playing pickle-in-the-middle -ha!)

This composition works beautifully with the format. Love the way the light hits the trunk of the trees and the sky reflection in the water. Very calming! Looking forward to the beauties you'll paint in this new year!
