Knife Crazy

8x6

Had so much fun with the palette knife, I tried it again.  This was painted over a unsuccessful painting but it adds some additional texture.  I painted this from a photo I took at a friend's farm a couple of years ago and never painted it.  There were a few cows in the shade of the tree but if you know my history of painting animals, you'd understand why they didn't make it in.  I just applied my artistic license & presto, No Cows!  Enjoy the day.

Inspiration à l'isolement... Rien de plus fascinant qu'un arbre. Belle peinture

I find this a very peaceful painting and the positive about the absence of the cows is in my imagination I can put myself in its shade and relax.
