Another study for a series of marsh paintings that I will be working on for the next few weeks. Always excited in the beginning and halfway through can't wait to paint something else. What's up with that? Attention deficit or just too many paintings to paint and never enough time?!

Wonderful, they remind me of the many marsh walks i've taken, how about a heron? They are one of my favorite birds.
This painting has a very nice feeling of tranquillity. I especially like the moving cloud mass.
