Where's Agatha?

Lemons & Cup
6x6  oil on paper/mounted
$95

It's amazing what I discovered once I cleaned out my studio.  Never remember this cup. Not a clue whether it came from & not something I would buy.  Don't suppose the still life fairy popped in over the weekend and left it for me?  It feels like when you drive somewhere & you don't remember how you got there.  But what would life be like without a little mystery?  Where's Agatha Christie when you need her?

I like how you painted this on paper. It seems to give Oil a softer look. I have'nt seen many on paper. as for Agatha, well i wish i knew because i just love her stories and plays. "Ten little Indians" my favorite.

Really beautiful work, Kelley! I love the treatment of the shadows on the lemons and that single red cherry adds such nice balance.

Kelley--I gave you that cup for your birthday. I am so offended that you didn't even remember....

And I suppose you don't remember the $100 bill tucked inside. Just as I suspected!!

Well, glad at least that you remembered how to paint it. Really well done..:))
